Side chaneel blowers

Oil-free positive-displacement units used for compressing air and other gases up to rather small overpressure, as well as used for producing specific underpressure. The method of operation of these blowers is based on the return flow theory consisting in transforming the kinetic energy of the inflowing gas into pressure. A reduced gas flow rate in relation to blowers with Roots-type stages is compensated by particular advantages. Owing to these machines it is possible to achieve a very high purity of the forced through gas, while preserving their excellent working parameters and preventing pressure fluctuation related to transferring this gas.

Side chaneel blowers

These units are manufactured as single-piece utilities from an appropriate alloy of aluminium. The rotor of the blower is located immediately on the shaft of the motor, thus operating without coming into contact with the enclosure, which greatly reduces the size of the blower, increases the operating lifespan of the entire unit, as well as minimises the noise level during its operation.
For special design needs, another blower construction is used, i.e. transferring the motor power feed through belt transmission. Blowers of such a non-standard construction are used for operating at extremely high temperatures and pressures of the transmitted gas, when working with industrial gases, or in atmosphere conditions running the risk of an explosion, etc.
They can operate both in the overpressure, as well as in the underpressure mode.

Side channel blowers of all types are machines which are used instead of Roots type blowers in conditions that require obtaining lower operating parameters of the compressed gases. The necessary parameters are achieved through the application of one or two rotors for individual types of blowers.

OPERATING PARAMETERS of the individual types of blowers are located within certain determined ranges, the extreme values of which are the following:
• overpressure output up to 750 mbar and flow rate in the range between 30  - 2150  m3/h
• underpressure output up to 500 mbar and flow rate in the range between  30  - 2150  m3/h
• motor power from 0.2 kW up to 25 kW
